How to Verify a Praesidium Download

Verify the digital signature

1. Right-click PraesidiumPC-Setup-2.38.6-x64.exe and select Properties.
2. Open Digital Signatures.
3. Select the signature and choose Details.
4. Confirm Windows reports that the digital signature is valid and the signer name is Aeternum IT Solutions LLC.

Verify the SHA-256 hash

Open PowerShell in the folder containing the installer and run:

Get-FileHash .\PraesidiumPC-Setup-2.38.6-x64.exe -Algorithm SHA256

If verification fails

Do not run the file. Delete it, download a fresh copy from the official release record, and repeat both checks. Contact Aeternum Support if the fresh copy still does not match.
