AETERNUM // WEBSITE & CUSTOMER ACCOUNT TERMS
Terms of Service
STATUSEffective September 2, 2026
VERSION2026-09-02
These Terms explain the rules for the Aeternum website, customer accounts, commerce, Praesidium licensing and connected services, refunds, support, reviews, and complimentary reviewer programs.
These are Aeternum’s currently published Terms of Service. They reflect the reviewed service design and current public offers.
Agreement and scope
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of aeternumit.com, Aeternum customer accounts and portals, checkout and refund workflows, downloads, support, public reviews, reviewer programs, and other connected services provided by Aeternum IT Solutions LLC (“Aeternum,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using a covered service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the covered service. Product-specific license terms presented with installed software remain separate and also apply to that software. If a specific written term conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific term controls for its subject.
Accounts and account security
Provide accurate information, keep credentials and verification codes confidential, and promptly tell Aeternum if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you notify us or secure the account.
Account sessions may persist across ordinary site navigation and can expire or be revoked for security. Aeternum may require renewed authentication for sensitive actions. Do not share an account in a way that defeats license, security, or identity controls.
Acceptable use
You may not impersonate another person; submit false or unlawful content; probe, bypass, overload, disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer protected services except where law expressly permits; automate abusive requests; interfere with another customer; misuse license credentials; distribute malicious code; or use Aeternum services in violation of law or another person’s rights.
Security research must stay within any written authorization and scope provided by Aeternum. A public page or reachable endpoint is not permission to test it destructively.
Praesidium Core, trial, and Premium
Praesidium Core is free forever and remains available without a paid license or recurring subscription, subject to the product license and technical requirements.
Each eligible installation receives one persistent 30-day Premium trial beginning on its first eligible launch, without requiring a payment card.
The current Praesidium Premium offer is $79.99 once, plus applicable tax displayed at checkout.
The current perpetual Premium offer does not automatically renew.
Promotional, complimentary, testing, or manually issued access may have different provenance or conditions, which will be identified in the applicable account or program record.
Licenses, activation, and devices
For the current Praesidium Premium offer, one qualifying purchase creates one license key for one active device. Activation binds the license to the device identity verified by the licensing service. A customer may need to deactivate an old device before activating a replacement, and a reinstall or material hardware change may require reauthorization.
Do not publish, sell, transfer, or share a key except through an Aeternum-supported transfer or gift workflow. Aeternum may invalidate a key obtained through fraud, charge reversal, unauthorized distribution, or material breach. Previously verified cached license state may support limited offline use, but connected validation can be required for named licensing operations.
Purchases, checkout, and taxes
You must sign in to an Aeternum account before completing a license purchase so the resulting entitlement can be attached to the correct customer record. Stripe processes checkout and payment details. Aeternum receives the transaction references and status needed to deliver and administer the purchase.
The price, currency, and any tax calculated for the transaction are shown before payment. Your card issuer or payment provider may apply its own processing, conversion, or authorization rules. A purchase is complete only after the payment service confirms success and Aeternum records the corresponding entitlement.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee and Consumer Rights
Qualifying Praesidium Premium purchases include Aeternum’s voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee beginning on the purchase date. A customer requesting a refund within that period does not need to provide a reason. The customer portal disables the ordinary request control after the guarantee window closes.
After Aeternum verifies that a request is within the guarantee window and matches the authenticated purchase, Aeternum submits the full refund to the original payment method through Stripe. Stripe and the customer’s financial institution control the time required for funds to appear. Fraud, duplicate requests, payment disputes, and transactions that cannot be matched to the authenticated customer may require review.
Your mandatory rights remain unaffected. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow Aeternum to limit or exclude. A legal right may apply beyond the voluntary guarantee.
Downloads, releases, and updates
Downloads and updates may depend on product, release status, account state, and entitlement. Aeternum may replace, withdraw, or correct a package to address integrity, security, compatibility, or operational issues. Customers should use the current official signed installer and verify release information where provided.
A perpetual license applies to the edition and rights described at purchase. It does not promise every future major product, feature, platform, or separately priced service. Security, compatibility, and maintenance updates may change product behavior when reasonably necessary.
Praesidium safety boundaries and local AI
Praesidium is a Windows diagnostic, maintenance, security-control, privacy, cleanup, software-care, and recovery command center. It presents evidence and separates preview, review, authorization, action, and recordkeeping. It does not guarantee that a computer is healthy, secure, recoverable, or free of malicious software.
Some actions can change files, applications, Windows configuration, network state, security controls, or recovery settings and can require restart. Review the presented scope and maintain independent backups before authorizing consequential work. Local AI is advisory: it can explain evidence and suggest next steps but cannot bypass product safeguards or authorize protected actions.
Support and diagnostic information
Support is provided through Aeternum’s approved contact and customer-portal channels. Before contacting support, record the Praesidium and Windows versions, preserve the exact error, and note the steps immediately before the problem. When Praesidium can open, a sanitized support package can be created from the About Praesidium menu.
Do not send passwords, verification codes, private keys, full license credentials, complete payment-card data, browser contents, personal files, or unrelated sensitive information. A support package remains local until the customer deliberately submits it. Support status and response availability can vary with business hours and the nature of the request.
Reviews and complimentary reviewer programs
A customer may submit a review only when the authoritative licensing system confirms eligibility for that account and product. The reviewer chooses a public display name. Aeternum may moderate for authenticity, privacy, safety, relevance, duplication, and unlawful content, but not merely because an opinion is critical or unfavorable.
Complimentary reviewer campaigns have configured capacity, license, status, and waiting-period rules. Approval automatically issues the configured license; it does not depend on a promised positive review. A review based on that license is permanently classified from the authoritative license record and displayed as Verified User · Complimentary License with the required disclosure. A genuine paid-license review may display Verified Purchase.
External services and availability
Aeternum services can rely on external infrastructure and services including hosting, payment processing, release distribution, analytics, email delivery, operating-system components, and network access. Those services can experience delays, maintenance, outages, or policy changes outside Aeternum’s control.
We work to maintain reliable and recoverable service, but uninterrupted availability is not promised. Status messages, retries, cached state, or temporary unavailability can occur. Do not rely on the website, account portal, or Praesidium as the sole copy of essential information or the sole recovery method for a device.
Suspension, termination, and account deletion
Aeternum may restrict or suspend access to protect customers or the service, investigate suspected abuse or fraud, comply with law, respond to payment reversal, or enforce these Terms or applicable product terms. Where practical, the action will be proportionate to the issue.
You may request account deletion through the authenticated portal. Deletion disables access and removes or de-identifies profile data as described in the Privacy Policy. Minimized transaction, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, license-authenticity, review-authenticity, and audit records may remain when reasonably needed or legally required.
Service and warranty boundaries
Except for an express written guarantee and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, Aeternum services are provided on an “as available” basis. Results depend on the device, Windows, third-party software, permissions, network conditions, and evidence available at the time. Recommendations are not a substitute for independent backups, qualified professional advice, or the customer’s judgment.
Aeternum does not promise that every issue will be detected, explained, prevented, repaired, or recoverable. These Terms state the contractual provisions currently applicable to the services described here.
Intellectual property and feedback
Aeternum and its licensors retain their rights in the website, software, designs, marks, documentation, and services. A license grants the limited rights stated in its product terms; it does not transfer ownership. You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the permission needed for Aeternum to host, display, moderate, and operate the requested service.
If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you permit Aeternum to use it to evaluate and improve its products without treating the feedback itself as confidential, provided Aeternum continues to protect personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms and contact
We will post a revised version when these Terms change and identify its version and effective date. A material change may also receive an account, product, or email notice where appropriate. The version shown on this page is the currently effective Terms of Service.
Questions may be sent to AeternumIT@proton.me or raised by calling (470) 785-5109. These are Aeternum’s approved public legal contact channels.
