Check for a product update
- Open About Praesidium or the application update control.
- Review the offered version and release notes.
- Save open work and allow any active Praesidium operation to finish.
- Download and run the signed update when prompted.
- After restart, open About Praesidium and confirm the installed version.
Verify a manually downloaded update
If you download an installer from the public Release Record, verify its digital signature and SHA-256 before running it. Do not install a Praesidium update offered by an unrelated site or pop-up.
If the update fails
Restart Windows, download a fresh signed installer, and run it with administrator approval. Do not remove local reports or recovery records merely to force an update.
